印度瑜珈有一種說法:
人一生中所擁有的呼吸總次數是有限的(隨著每個人的天賦體質有差異),
所以古代稱死亡為氣數盡了
呼吸的速率越快,就越快用光命定的氣數
例如很多老鼠每分鐘呼吸約180-200次,因此壽命很短促
烏龜可以很久才呼吸一次,壽命就比較長
現代人呼吸速率約17-20次/分,
據說遠古時代的人呼吸速率只有9-10次/分(參考中醫典籍紀錄)
所以平常的緊張或者憤怒,都會造成呼吸頻率加速,對於壽命應該會有不良的影響
