Having mental illness doesn’t make you instant pals.
Sure, you may find a common ground from your brokenness,
but who you admire, what you aspire, what you want out of life, your morals, your temperaments, are all different.

It is a common reoccurring phenomenon when you make friends with other patients: Except for your brokenness, you really have nothing in common.
