I reread Mark Manson’s articles. I know many consider him a pseudo life guru, but many things he said hit home.
He essentially said life is a shit sandwich, and you need to know what kind of shit sandwich you’re willing to swallow, ‘cause behind every shiny thing you wish to achieve there is a hidden cost, and only you and you alone know if you are willing to tolerate the drawbacks.
Thinking about all this, I am finding motivational quotes emptier and emptier by the day.
