最近在一本書上看到關於MHC identical 和 MHC compatible的討論
不太懂 所以來問問
摘錄內容如下:
If the donor and the recipient have the same MHC antigen pattern,
we say they are MHC identical.
Because there are so many patterns of MHC antigens,
it is very rare (and very lucky) to find a donor who is MHC identical.
But it is usually possible to find an approximate match -
a person who is MHC compatible.
我想請問 MHC identical 是指100% 相符嗎?
是不是除了同卵雙生之外 不可能找到MHC identical 的捐贈者?
因為作者在其他地方說找到的機率跟找到指紋相同者一樣
這不就等於除了同卵雙生之外不可能找到? 依據CSI的說法 雙胞胎指紋相同
這邊的rare 應該不等於not 不然不會說能找到是lucky?
如果MHC identical 和 MHC compatible只是程度的差別, MHC identical並不是指100%,
為甚麼還要分identical 和 compatible?
