2005與2010的AHA指引都認為對孕婦使用去顫器是安全的

2005年AHA的指引中Part 10.8「孕婦的心臟驟停」說：

"There is no evidence that shocks from a direct current defibrillator have
adverse effects on the heart of the fetus. "

「目前沒有證據顯示去顫器的電流對胎兒心臟有害」

2010年的AHA指引說

"Although there is a small risk of inducing fetal arrhythmias, cardioversion
and defibrillation on the external chest are considered safe at all stages of
pregnancy"

被認為是安全的。」
